The girl who stole my heart.

Addison, my niece is turning SIX years old Saturday! Oh my gosh, unbelievable!!! I love her to death, she means the world to me and I am so thankful for her. If only she could move back to Tennessee, I miss her so much! Happy (early) Birthday to the sweetest most gorgeous niece in the entire world!

Dog lovers.

"We tend to forget that happiness does not come as a result of getting something we do not have but rather recognizing and appreciating what we do have."
So my mother requested I do a blog for Zoey. I will not do a whole blog on her but I will do a post. This girl in this picture is my child, and she brings joy to me everyday! I feel that God put animals on this earth to remind us that they will love us everytime we come home and never stay mad at us.

Zoey means Life in Latin and that is why I gave her this name. Before Zoey became our pet we had a dog very similiar to her named Bella, which means Beautiful in Latin. We named Zoey for life because of Bella, Zoey's whole name is Zoey Isabella, which in turn means Beautiful Life. We had Bella a little less than a year and she died from a terrible car who hit her, she is now in heaven with my grandfather and another special animal that is close to my heart, Shady. Shady has been in my life since I was in 2nd grade, and she was really the first pet I could ever remember having, and she has been apart of my life up until this past March. Shady was such a joy, she had barking contests with me and she loved to be loved on. The last 3 days of her life really tore me up, I thought she would be alive forever and be there for me to love on and someone to run to when I did not want to talk to anyone, when I just needed someone to love on me. She made me grow such a love for dogs and I will always remember her as being my first true pet.

                Bella. (December 28th,2008-January 8th,2010)
Shady. (2nd grade-March 4th,2011)

On a happier note, Zoey is amazing and she has really stolen my heart, this girl is almost perfect!! She is a little bit of a tomboy and this requires her getting all the mud washed off her almost everyday, and she does not like baths! But she loves swimming(weird, right?). She loves cuddling but at the same time snores SO LOUD! She is growing up so fast, she will be 2 in November, which is unbelievable! Anyway, she is such a joy and I am so thankful God placed Zoey in my home!

This blog is dedicated to my wonderful mom, since she asked for it. Thank you for being an amazing mom and putting up with the animals Brandon and I insist on having, you and dad take such good care of them, just like you do for Brandon and I. :)
My beautiful mom. I love you.
